Churches open for Private Prayer
We are happy to report that from today, our churches will be open during the day for private prayer. Our hope is that this brings tangible hope not only to the Christian community, but also to the wider villages as it has been so hard for the doors to be shut as they have been for so long. We kindly ask that those visiting the churches respect the guidelines on social distancing and the safety protocols that have been put in place for the well-being of us all.

As posted last week: Films to watch over these few days:
“The Passion” – by the BBC (not to be confused with “The Passion” by Mel Gibson – which is pretty violent). One of the best films to depict the events of Holy Week.
“Jesus of Nazareth” – an epic, and a bit dated now, but Robert Powell as Jesus and Lawrence Olivier as Nicodemus are amazing.
“The Case for Christ” – a true story looking at the life of a reporter who sets out to discover if the resurrection is true.
“Mary Magdalene” – a recent film that spoke up for Mary’s role in the whole story of Jesus and saw the life of Jesus from her point of view. Backed up by recent archaeological discoveries.
“The Shack” – a recent film looking fictionally at where God is in suffering. Based on the bestselling book of the same name.
Something, hopefully, for everyone.
