40 Days with Jesus – Week 5 Day 1

After completing the blog for today Matt spent time in evening prayer and was inspired by the opening lines of the Psalm for this evening – Psalm 105:1-11. It led him to look up this video – Oh Immanuel, by Joshua Aaron.

The video for the song is set in the very hill of Galilee that Matt was talking about, above the Mount of Beatitudes.

The ideas that it conjures about being open to Immanuel – God with us and seeing Him in the moment shows that anyone can be a great witness to God’s eternal and everlasting love.

Hope it brings some peace to you all this evening.

The other reading for this evening is 1 Peter 1: 3-9- a beautiful passage of God’s love for us shown through Jesus’ resurrection.
