Rule of Life in Lockdown – Series 2 starts Tuesday 12th January 7.30pm

The Rule of Life Bible Study Group returns with Series 2 starting on Tuesday 12th January from 7:30 pm until 9pm via Zoom

The plan is to journey with Jesus by studying various episodes and bible passages from His early ministry to learn how we can love Him more deeply and follow Him  more closely as His apprentices and disciples. Our journey of six Tuesday evenings starts with the Epiphany celebration of Christ coming in flesh as our light and salvation.

This  is a stand-alone set of sessions and you are very welcome, whether or not you attended Series One.  The studies will be co-led at first by Ian and Sonya Stocker and Nick and Sarah Jarrett-Kerr.  We will be following the  principles and format used in Series 1.  As Howard Worsley has reminded us, the key thing is to get us all opening the Bible together, sharing and praying as we go deeper into the heart of God while renewing our own.

Nick and Sarah Jarrett-Kerr will be responsible for the administration of the group, so if you would like to attend, please indicate your interest to them (nick@jarrett-kerr.com or 07768 921166) so they can send you joining instructions and Zoom details.

Update on worship during Lockdown 3

We regret to inform you that for the time being, the Vicar and PCCs, following advice from The Church of England and Public Health have decided to suspend ALL PUBLIC WORSHIP until further notice.

The Church will still be OPEN for private personal prayer, we ask that you adhere to social distancing and use the sanitiser provided.

This decision is not taken lightly and is done in the best interest of congregation and worship leaders.

Online services will continue to be broadcast each Sunday from both Banwell and Congresbury alternately at 10.30am on www.facebook.com/NewCreationChurches

For up-to-date information or to find help and support within the villages, please visit our website www.newcreationchurches.org.uk

Update on Lockdown 3

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday evening, calling for immediate lockdown protocols, the Incumbent and PCC must decide the safest and most appropriate course of action for the foreseeable future. Updates will posted as soon as decisions are reached but online services, resources and the daily blog will still be available throughout the period of the latest lockdown.
