Lent and Easter are an important time in the Church calendar as we prepare for Jesus’ death and resurrection. Our theme for this year is ‘Cracking open the Easter Egg: Breaking the pre-conceived ideas of Easter’, looking at Easter in a different way though the characters that were actually there and the stories that they can tell us.

Reverse Lent
Why not try something different for Lent this year? Instead of giving something up – like chocolate – why not take something up instead? Our 40 days of kindness challenge. A small act of kindness a day can make all the difference – offer to pick up shopping for a neighbour? Walk a friend’s dog? Donate to the Foodbank? Even a smile to the next person in the queue in the shop. Spread some kindness as we walk towards Easter.
