We will also be taking a retiring collection at our morning service tomorrow morning in St. Andrew’s, Congresbury.
There are lots of things going on this Lent to get involved! Join us on a Saturday morning for ‘Muddy Boot’ Lent, on a Monday evening to follow ‘Finding a Voice’, a Lent course looking at the film ‘The King’s Speech or a Tuesday morning looking at the book ‘Hope and the Nearness of God’. We also have a number of Home Groups to get involved with or follow our daily blog each day as we journey towards Easter. For more details visit our Lent page by clicking here or selecting the above tab or email Kirsty on firstname.lastname@example.org,uk
We will be streaming LIVE from Cadbury Hill on Thursday 13th May at 10.30am to our Facebook page for a special Ascension Day service. Please join us online here or catch up later on the website.
We will be leaving the car park at Cadbury Hill at 10am and it is a beautiful walk, although if you want to walk up there you may want to dress for wet weather as the forecast isn’t great.
After the service, we will be going to Heather’s Coffee Shop in Congresbury for a late breakfast/early lunch. Of course, due to social distancing we will be seated outside and cannot sit together, but it would be lovely to see you – if only from a distance!
CONGRESBURY APCM – WEDNESDAY 26TH MAY 7.30PM
BANWELL APCM – THURSDAY 27TH MAY 7.30PM
The two Churches will be holding their annual meetings soon to look at the past year and to elect the new Churchwardens.
The meetings will be held on Zoom – link to follow. Anyone can attend these meetings but only those registered on the Church Electoral Roll are able to vote at the APCM. Anyone in the Parish is eligible to vote for the new Churchwardens.
If you are not currently on the electoral roll but would like to be added you are very welcome. There is a downloadable copy of the forms available here. Being part of our church family means that we will keep in contact with you with our weekly Pew News sheets, emails and Prayer Diary.
Forms can be returned to Congresbury Church Office or given to the Electoral Roll Officer or Wardens in either Church.
